Thomas Zimmer

Thomas Zimmer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Energy Efficiency of Technical Systems and combines strong educational qualifications with practical experience in project preparation and coordination.

As a consultant, Thomas works in preparing and managing European projects in different sectors. He serves as the Energy field leader for the LIFE Clean Energy Transition (CET) program as well as overseeing calls and topics related to other energy sources. Additionally, Thomas is a Co-Energy field leader for calls and topics focused on renewable energy sources.

His project management track record includes the assistance in real estate construction projects, the management of an Innovation Fund Small Scale project and a Horizon Europe project. Thomas has also contributed to interdisciplinary projects, such as managing cascade funding calls in arts, media and data (MediaFutures project).
