Madrid OfficeAna Lumbreras is a journalist by the University of Navarra with a specialisation in Institutional and Corporate Communication. Since 2020 she has been working at Zabala Innovation as communication manager for projects funded by the European Commission (H2020, Horizon Europe, LIFE) in different sectors such as Energy, Transport, Health or ICT.
In recent years she has participated in different international projects as leader of the dissemination, communication and stakeholder participation work package. Her work includes tasks such as the elaboration of Communication and Dissemination plans, Marketing strategies, writing news and press releases, media relations, events organisation, monitoring of the latest developments related to Research and Innovation, social media management, content creation for websites, coordination with third parties for the elaboration of communication materials such as videos, visual identity or promotional brochures, impact measurement and internal communication in European consortiums.
Previously, she worked as a press editor at Diario de Noticias de Navarra, doing news, interviews, reports, coverage of events and press conferences mainly focused on society, politics and culture. She has also worked as a television journalist for the daily news programme Navarra Directo, broadcast by the Basque public television (EITB). She has combined these experiences with her participation as a member of the Youth Parliament of Navarra, a youth participation initiative in which she drafted proposals to improve youth-related issues and participated in plenary sessions.
Ana is trilingual in Spanish, Basque and English.
