Abel Muñiz

Abel Muñiz have a BSc in Chemical Engineering (2014), a MSc in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses (2016) and a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering (2022) from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (Spain). After previous work as a research support technician and collaborating researcher at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (BioGroup – CRETUS), Abel joined the European Projects team at Zabala Innovation in 2022.

Abel is co-responsible for the creation of European project proposals co-funded by different programmes, as well as for their management and the requirements of the European Commission in the pre-start-up phase of projects, after the communication of their approval. Abel is also part of the Universities Knowledge Area of Zabala Innovation, focusing on the different calls in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).
