Yaiza Tejido holds a PhD in Applied Environmental Engineering from the University of Navarra, and a degree in Chemical Engineering specialising in Environment from the School of Engineering of Bilbao, UPV/EHU. During the completion of her doctoral thesis she worked as a junior researcher at Ceit BRTA, in the Water and Waste Group, specialising in water management and treatment, complemented by two stays at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, ZHAW. She has participated in several European and national projects in the field of water treatment and circular economy. She is currently working as an R&D&I consultant, managing and preparing European projects related to environment, circular economy, climate action and chemical engineering.
