Sara holds a Master’s degree in International Politics and Diplomacy (University of Padua, Italy). She has more than a decade of experience in coordination and animation in the framework of several European collaborative projects. Thanks to her long experience in the management and implementation of European projects and calls for proposals in France (Horizon 2020, Interreg, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, ANR-MRSEI, and IPA, among others), she has an in-depth knowledge of the functioning of the system linked to innovation in academia and, more generally, in the world of research.
In 2021, Sara joined Zabala Innovation’s Bordeaux office, where she is in charge of writing proposals in response to European Commission and French calls for proposals, as well as managing and obtaining funding. At Zabala Innovation, she is the focal point for the Marie Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the Horizon Europe programme.
