Pamplona OfficeLander Esparza is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA, Spain), with a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability from the University of Reading (UK). After completing his master’s degree, he worked at Thames Water Utilities Ltd (a water supply and wastewater treatment utility in London and the Thames Valley), where he spent four years, first in the innovation department on sludge treatment issues and then in the Energy and Carbon team for the management of renewable energy generation plants.
He works at Zabala Innovation as a consultant in the European Projects business unit, where he has participated in the preparation and management of collaborative projects for universities and technology centres, small, medium, and large companies, and public administrations, within the strategic sectors of energy, environment, industry, and social challenges. He is a member of the Environment Knowledge Area of Zabala Innovation and co-responsible for the European calls of the LIFE programme.
