HYDROPOWER EUROPE
The aim of the HYDROPOWER project is to provide a forum for all key players in the European hydropower sector.
Julen Ugalde holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (2003). As an R&D technician, he worked in the field of embedded electronic systems and wireless communications for digital home, energy efficiency and health management applications. In the last 9 years he has been involved in the preparation and management of R&D&I and technology transfer projects, both internal and funded by public aid programmes, in the areas of embedded systems, environment and energy. In this period he has participated in more than 40 R&D&I projects, mainly in European funding programmes (FP7, H2020, CEF, ITEA, ARTEMIS, etc.), as well as other national and regional programmes. He has worked with and provided support to companies, public bodies and different agents of the Basque Science and Technology Network.
