Pamplona OfficeJuan Cristóbal García is an Industrial Engineer and has management training in PdG from IESE and in Strategic Innovation from ESADE. He has more than 17 years of experience in strategy and innovation management, supporting industrial companies, technology centres and public administrations, and building large collaborative projects on Urban, Industry and Digital topics.
Juan Cristóbal was responsible for the secretariat of the EIP-SCC Market Place between 2014 and 2016. He has led the cities area and the Industry and Digital knowledge area at Zabala Innovation and is currently a consultant in innovation strategy. Prior to his period at our company, he worked at Alstom (Barcelona) as quality manager in the development of new passenger trains and as a Six Sigma Black Belt, and at Gamesa (Pamplona), in the development of new wind turbines.
He has been an evaluator of European proposals in FP7, Eurostars and Climate KIC, and an expert contracted by DG REGIO. He has been a member of the EIP-SCC initiative “From Planning to Implementation” and “Intelligent Mobility for Energy Transition”, member of standardisation committees (UNE) and of the Smart Cities committee in AMETIC. Since 2013 he collaborates in teaching Innovation Management at the UOC – Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
