Jaume Cot

Jaume Cot has the PhD in Engineering and Information technologies from the University of Lleida, specialist in recycling of wastes and thermal energy storage two ways to improve our environment. He has also the master’s degree of Science Applied Engineering from the University of Lleida and the bachelor’s degrees of chemical engineering and industrial engineering, both from the University Ramon Llull at the Chemical Institute of Sarrià (IQS, Spain). He is currently working as operative coordinator for European programmes at the office of Barcelona from Zabala Innovation. He has more than 9 years of expertise as project management in European and Spanish funding instruments from application until certification (whole journey). Creating successful proposals, leading or assisting the coordination of consortiums of all sizes (2 to 38) and internal management teams, developing funding strategies and identifying research and business opportunities, among other related activities. He is connected to the research and innovation sector for more than 14 years, having knowledge and expertise in a wide range of sectors, particularly in Energy, Transport, Mobility, Manufacturing and Process Industry and Chemical Industry, among other sectors.
