Pamplona OfficeAritz Goñi has developed a long career (+12 years) in Zabala, having worked in different functions: He started his work in Zabala as an innovation consultant in the national area, supporting Spanish companies in the management of their innovation (mainly in the search for funding for their innovation projects through Spanish public calls for R&D&I funding.
Subsequently, he joined the area of European projects and programmes, as a senior consultant accompanying companies, universities and technology centres in accessing European R&D&I funding projects and programmes for more than 8 years. Subsequently, and for 4 years, he has been the Internationalisation Coordinator, having participated in the international expansion of the company and in all kinds of international services. He has been involved in the support that Zabala gives to its clients in the search for funding for innovation projects in the countries where the company is present (Spain, UK, France, Colombia). He is also in charge of mapping innovation funding opportunities in many countries of interest. As director of the international area, he has led a significant number of studies and works related to innovation financing mechanisms at international level. In addition, since 2020 he is responsible for the consultancy team working on international tenders and European Programmes with international clients.
Throughout his career, he has participated in the definition, formulation and presentation to public calls for +100 R&D&I projects promoted by companies, technology centres and universities in many countries. Finally, he has assisted the European Commission as an external evaluator of R&D&I projects in Framework Project calls (FP7).
