Energy: EU Publications Office disseminates BRIDGE brochure 2021
ZABALA Innovation, under the supervision of the European Commission - Energy Directorate-General and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency - CINEA, has elaborated the new BRIDGE Brochure, which collects in depth information on a broad range of technologies and services addressed by the projects involved in the initiative. It is available for download at the Publications Office of the European Union.
BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites 90 (58 ongoing) Horizon 2020 projects in the areas of Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Islands and Digitalisation. Launched in 2016, it now continues under Horizon Europe – the largest R&I funding programme ever supported, with the ambition of creating a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation. ZABALA currently supports the European Commission in the implementation of the BRIDGE Initiative as well as the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP SNET) .
The new BRIDGE brochure is a valuable tool for all those organisations working in the energy sector, providing information on a broad range of technologies and services addressed by the projects involved in the initiative. In it, you will find a factsheet for each funded project, detailing the context, scope and impact, information on consortium partners, the geographical coverage, timeframe and funding received.
Through this BROCHURE and the multiple Reports developed by the different BRIDGE working groups and task forces, the initiative fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects by gathering coordinated and coherent recommendations to assist policy makers in view of removing barriers to innovation deployment. Today, projects involved in the BRIDGE Initiative gather over 1,000 organisations from 40 countries.
More information on these projects can be found through the BRIDGE website as well as on KAILA, ZABALA’s intelligent platform. KAILA enables your organisation to identify new funding opportunities as well as to check what other projects are doing in response to specific topics. It will help you to analyse consortiums and to identify the best partners for your new projects!
