Participate to the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2021!
#EUSEW2021 will run from 25 to 29 October 2021 in a digital format, under the theme ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’.

Every year, the European Commission (DG ENER and EASME) organises the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. #EUSEW2021 will run from 25 to 29 October 2021 in a digital format, under the theme ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’. Registration for EUSEW 2021 will launch in September.
EU Sustainable Energy Week 2021
In 2021, the EUSEW is divided into the main programme and the extended programme:
The main programme (25-29 October):
- Interactive 3-day Policy Conference.
- Debate with Ambassadors.
- EUSEW Awards Ceremony.
- European Youth Energy Day.
- Networking village.
Extended programme (September and October):
- Dedicated digital events complementing the main programme.
- Energy Days showcasing the commitment of local communities across Europe.
ABOUT THE POLICY CONFERENCE
The digital Policy Conference of EUSEW 2021 will take place online between 25 and 29 October 2021. Maximum of 3 organisations and no more than 5 speakers can apply taking into account gender balance. Each session duration is 90 minutes. The sessions in the Policy Conference should focus on sustainability, interactivity (engaging the online audience), and collaboration (positioning EUSEW as a community). The EU funded projects can submit a joined proposal and a consortium as a whole is considered as one of the organising entity.
The applications will open on the 13th of April and close on the 10th of May.
WHO CAN APPLY
Public authorities, energy agencies, industry associations, businesses, civil society organisations and the media. NON-ELIGIBLE: Past speakers and participants from city councils and the European institutions, private companies and research organisations, citizen groups and NGOs.
HOW TO APPLY
Create a user account at the EUSEW website. The platform is very intuitive and it will guide you.
When submitting the application, it is important to choose one of these tags which will help the EC evaluate your proposal:

ABOUT DIGITAL EVENTS
Digital events are part of the extended programme running from September to October. Even though the events are independently organised, the EUSEW 2021 organisers will support their communication on the EUSEW website, newsletters, and social media. At the EUSEW 2021 info session, Commission stated that there might be thematic clusters for different events. 30 sessions will be selected with a strong and clear objective.
