The new LIFE programme 2021-2027 is published

The EU’s flagship environmental programme, LIFE, is kicking off. The LIFE 2021-2027 programme was published on Tuesday and the first calls are now available on the Funding and Tenders Portal. Here are the closing dates for some of the most relevant calls:

• Standard Actions Projects:-“Circular Economy and Quality of Life” subprogramme: 30 November (5 p.m.). Single phase.-“Nature and Biodiversity” subprogramme: 30 November (5 p.m.). Single phase.-“Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation” subprogramme: 30 November (5 p.m.). Single phase.-“Clean Energy Transition” sub-programme: 12 January 2022 (5 p.m.). Single phase.
• Integrated Projects (all subprogrammes): 19 October 2021 – Concept Note. 7 April 2022 – Full Proposal.
• Technical Assistance Projects (all subprogrammes): 22 September (5 p.m.). Single phase.

LIFE 2021 – 2027 Webinar

ZABALA Innovation will be organising a webinar in the next few days, during which we will explain the keys and features of this new call, share success stories from past calls and identify the strengths of the LIFE programme. In addition, there will be a specific session to answer any questions that may arise.

In this new edition, the programme’s budget has significantly increased, reaching 5,400 million euros. The following table summarises the budget of the main calls for proposals.
