Last September, Zabala launched Kaila, the first smart platform created to identify and interconnect the different innovation actors in Europe. The aim of Kaila is to provide a collaborative hub that fosters open innovation by facilitating the creation and management of innovation ecosystems in Europe.
Through the platform, The user can find out about the latest European funding opportunities, the evolution of technologies and areas of interest, and related projects funded by the European Commission.
In addition, it encourages to strengthen the network of collaborators to find suitable partners, as well as the most innovative organisations in Europe with which to create alliances and gain an international dimension.
Kaila has several layers of functionality, which will be progressively launched to cover all the needs of the different ecosystems and boost open innovation.
The first of these layers is Kaila Analytics, a tool for grouping data from the main European Open Data sources into a single stream.
