Kaila, the smart platform developed by Zabala, launches new Ebooks section

Horizon 2020: Key Figures, the first Ebook of Kaila, the smart platform created by Zabala, has been published with the aim of promoting useful content and resources that allow companies to boost their innovation.

In context: Kaila

Last September, Zabala launched Kaila, the first smart platform created to identify and interconnect the different innovation actors in Europe. The aim of Kaila is to provide a collaborative hub that fosters open innovation by facilitating the creation and management of innovation ecosystems in Europe.

Through the platform, The user can find out about the latest European funding opportunities, the evolution of technologies and areas of interest, and related projects funded by the European Commission.

In addition, it encourages to strengthen the network of collaborators to find suitable partners, as well as the most innovative organisations in Europe with which to create alliances and gain an international dimension.

Kaila has several layers of functionality, which will be progressively launched to cover all the needs of the different ecosystems and boost open innovation.

The first of these layers is Kaila Analytics, a tool for grouping data from the main European Open Data sources into a single stream.

Content of interest: Ebook

Kaila’s greatest potential lies in its capacity to generate and promote a Community of value around innovation in Europe, so that entities such as companies, researchers, organisations and institutions, among others, can interact through the platform.

In order to foster the development of this community, a new section of Ebooks has been launched today, which includes interesting content on resources to promote innovation in companies.

This way, entities that want to keep up to date with current trends in different industries, have innovative ideas or are looking for funding for their innovation projects, will be able to find the latest news on innovation in these documents. New content will be updated and published on a regular basis on topics such as:

  • Innovation ecosystems
  • Open innovation
  • Innovation trends
  • Project funding opportunities
  • Relevant funding programmes
  • Technology trends
  • Disruptive technologies

The first Kaila Ebook: Horizon 2020 Key Figures

The first Ebook published on the platform is entitled Horizon 2020 Key figures, and contains the key figures of the programme, to give an overview of its results and a better understanding of the programme.

It analyses the distribution of funding, the most active countries and the companies and projects that have obtained the most funding. These findings are intended to help companies predict what the new Horizon Europe programme will look like. It can be downloaded free of charge here.

Next steps

Horizon 2020 Key Figures is just the beginning of a series of downloadable content that will be included on the Kaila platform on a regular basis, with the next Horizon Europe Quick guide being a summary of this new funding programme, its features, structures and first calls for proposals.
