€42M aimed at the preparation of the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority
The European Health and Digital Agency (HaDEA) is launching four open calls for tenders under the EU4 Health programme.
The tenders have an overall budget of 42 million euros, with October 15 2021 as a tentative deadline for the submission of offers.

With the Covid-19 crisis having highlighted the fragility of the EU’s healthcare system, these actions should contribute to reinforcing the EU’s response mechanisms through the production of one or several Covid-19 treatments and the improvement of access to Covid-19 treatments at EU level.
They could also serve as an outline for future Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) responsibilities.
HaDEA’s ambition is “to help rebuild a post-COVID-19 Europe at its heart which will be greener, more digital and more resilient for future challenges.” Its annual 2021 work programme was adopted on 5 August, further details on the final work programme can be found here.
