CIRCUSOL at PV Magazine’s Virtual Roundtable
Horizon 2020 project, CIRCUSOL, represented sustainable business models at the European Roundtable gathering solar power industry.
PV materials, manufacturing, and development practices are being increasingly evaluated in terms of sustainability, bringing both complexity and opportunity. As an economic recovery from Covid-19 brings “green growth” to the fore, how technology, certification, and the corporate social responsibility demands of off-takers can bring sustainability to the fore and deliver a competitive edge.
On June 10, 2020, PV MAGAZINE invited CIRCUSOL partners to speak at the Sustainability Roundtable. The online event targetted energy powerhouses & small vendors to redefine their role in the next stage of Europe’s energy transition.
The experts from the solar power industry talked about why sustainability matters – challenges and opportunities in manufacturing and technology development in the context of an EU Green Deal.
