Akuo Energy produces and develops renewable energy through various sources: solar, wind, biomass and hydro. It was created in 2007 by the founders of Perfect Wind and is currently present in 15 countries around the world with approximately 351 employees. Since 2007, Akuo has established itself as one of France’s leading independent producers of renewable energy.
Ever since its very early days, Akuo has been committed to developing and operating projects that go beyond simply producing renewable power; Akou aims to create additional social benefits for the inhabitants of the areas in which the company is active. Furthermore, it operates in different parts of the value chain: development, financing, operation and maintenance.
